7-Day Southern Spain: Iberian Lynx Photography Tour

Dates: 2nd September to 8th September 2027
Group size: Minimum 4, maximum 6
Meals: Full Board. Self service light breakfast & dinners (can be taken into the hide), and a cooked lunch (from a local cook) during our down time.
Cost: £1,745 per person.
Deposit: £350, remaining balance required at least 12 weeks prior to start date.

Accommodation

We will be staying at Cortijo Gato Clavo in the Sierra de Andújar. The accommodation is located on-site, so it is only a short walk from your room to the photography hides.

Itinerary

Day 1: We will be picked up from Madrid Airport and stop at a local supermarket where I will purchase our communal supplies for breakfasts and dinners, while giving you the opportunity to buy your preferred drinks and snacks for the week. We will then drive to our accommodation, get settled in, and have a cooked dinner together prepared by a local cook to discuss the schedule for the coming week.

Day 2 & 3: An early breakfast (which can be taken into the hide with you), followed by a morning hide session for Iberian Lynx. We will return to the accommodation for a full cooked lunch prepared by a local cook, followed by a midday break. We then head out for an evening hide session. Dinner can either be taken into the hide with you or eaten back at the accommodation afterward.

Day 4: Early breakfast before driving out to a local nature reserve to photograph wildlife along a river, where we will be looking out for otters and birds. We return to the accommodation for a cooked lunch and a rest, before heading out in the evening to look for local wildlife and birds of prey.

Day 5 & 6: An early breakfast (which can be taken into the hide with you), followed by a morning hide session for Iberian Lynx. We will return to the accommodation for a full cooked lunch prepared by a local cook, followed by a midday break. We then head out for an evening hide session. Dinner can either be taken into the hide with you or eaten back at the accommodation afterward.

Day 7: Early breakfast and then transfer back to Madrid Airport.

Photo reviews and editing tips can take place during our down time in the middle of the day. Please note that this is completely voluntary on your part, just know that I will be on hand if you would like any help with this.
