I offer a selection of talks and presentations for camera clubs, natural history societies, and photographic organisations across the UK.
When I speak to a club, I don't just show a slideshow of my best portfolio shots and leave it at that. My talks focus on the actual reality of wildlife photography. I talk openly about the fieldcraft involved, the mistakes I make, and how I adapt my settings or my workflow when things aren't going to plan. I always keep things down-to-earth and leave plenty of time for an open Q&A session so your members can ask direct questions about gear, tracking, or technique.

The Natural Wildlife Edit
Taking the shot in the field is only half the battle; how you handle the RAW file back at your computer makes all the difference. This talk focuses on how to process your images without making them look over-edited or artificial. I will take you through my exact post-processing workflow, showing how I balance contrast, enhance natural colours, and clean up distracting backgrounds cleanly and ethically while keeping the image true to life.
Getting Creative with Wildlife Photography
This talk is about utilising different creative techniques within your wildlife photography. The “perfect” conditions are a rare occurrence when you’re out in nature, so it’s important to have an arsenal of different techniques to fall back on to make the most out of a photography session no matter the weather, lighting conditions or time of day. I’ll be showing plenty of examples of different creative ideas and explaining how to use them to help you get a varied portfolio of images.
Booking Information & Fees:
Formats Available – I can deliver all presentations in person at your local club venue or remotely via Zoom.
Duration – My standard bookings run for around 2 hours. This includes the main presentation, a short break in the middle, and a proper Q&A session at the end.
Zoom Bookings – £120 flat rate.
In-Person Bookings – £150 plus travel expenses (calculated from my base at 45p per mile).
I know that budgets can vary wildly, especially for smaller community clubs and societies with limited memberships. If you are working with a tighter budget for the season, please drop me a message and I will always do my best to accommodate you where my schedule allows.
Logistics & Venue Setup:
Equipment – For in-person bookings, I bring my own laptop and connection cables. The hosting club will just need to provide a digital projector, a screen, and a suitable audio setup if the room requires a microphone.
